Briskly Paced Hike with the Hounds at Minor Park (~4.5 miles)

Let’s go hiking! Grab the pooch and join us for this briskly-paced morning hike at Minor Park. We will meet at the Minor Park picnic shelter and walk the paved path to Alex George Lake where we will hike the Bridger and Badger trails. The hike will be approximately 4.5 miles (about half paved) and we will complete the hike in less than 2 hours.

Meet at the picnic shelter.

This is a hike on dirt and rock trails, so make sure you prepare properly. Things to consider:
• Proper shoes for hiking
• Water for yourself and your pooch
• Bug repellant for yourself and your pooch depending on the time of the year

OFF-LEASH – All cities in the Kansas City area have “leash laws,” requiring dogs to be on-leash at all times (other than specifically designated areas). As a group, KC Dog Club does not require dogs to be kept on-leash, however, you (alone) are responsible for your dog, the actions of your dog, and any fines you may receive for your dog being off-leash.
