Dog’s Day Out at Powell Gardens

Time to stop and smell the flowers at Powell Gardens. This annual event allows for dogs to be walked through the beautiful gardens, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Great Plains SPCA’s mission to promote a better life for pets and their owners.

We will meet at the front entrance to the gardens at 9 am. Saturday morning and explore the grounds together for about a couple of hours. Look for people wearing KC Dog Club shirts.

The first 100 owners to enter receive free dog treats. General admission is $10. All dogs must be leashed and be current on their vaccinations. Around noontime, we can grab lunch at the Garden cafe or go somewhere in Lee’s Summit together.
