Hike on the Bridger and Badger Trails

The Bridger and Badger trails are a newly remodeled section of the Blue River Parkway Trails across the street (Blue River Road) from Alex George Lake.

This is a hike on dirt and rock trails, so make sure you prepare properly. The trails do have some obstacles (rocks) and the trails do go up and down hills. As a hiking trail, I would rate this trail as moderate – similar to the Swope Park Trails. Note – the pdf’s trail difficulty is listed for biking.

OFF-LEASH – All cities in the Kansas City area have “leash laws,” requiring dogs to be on-leash at all times (other than specifically designated areas). As a group, KC Dog Club does not require dogs to be kept on-leash, however, you (alone) are responsible for your dog, the actions of your dog, and any fines you may receive for your dog being off-leash.
