We will hike this approximate route (mapmywalk.com says 3.5 miles, but it’s more like 4.5) The hike should take 2 hours, or so – www.mapmywalk.com/routes/view/1783761017

This is a hike on dirt and rock trails, so make sure you prepare properly. There may be mud on the trail. We’re in the woods, so you may want to bring bug spray for yourself and your pooch. You should also bring water for your dog.

OFF-LEASH – All cities in the Kansas City area have “leash laws,” requiring dogs to be on-leash at all times (other than specifically designated areas). As a group, KC Dog Club does not require dogs to be kept on-leash, however, you (alone) are responsible for your dog, the actions of your dog, and any fines you may receive for your dog being off-leash.
