June 4th is National Trails Day. Celebrate with KC Dog Club as we participate in Kansas City, MO Parks and Recreation Department’s #TrailsDayKC photo contest

We’re scheduling multiple short hikes on Kansas City, MO trails throughout the day. Come to as many as you can. Take a ton of photos and hashtag them with #TrailsDayKC and don’t forget the #KCDC.

Cave Spring Trail

This is a fairly short trail that has multiple cut-throughs. We’ll be here for approximately 1 – 1½ hours

• William M. Klein Park / Cave Spring Trail website – cavespring.org/

This is a hike on dirt and rock trails, so make sure you prepare properly. There may be mud on the trail. It is probably a good idea to spray yourself with bug repellent.

YOUR RSVP – If you RSVP YES, then your plans change, update your RSVP to NO, so we don’t wait for you.

OFF-LEASH – All cities in the Kansas City area have “leash laws,” requiring dogs to be on-leash at all times (other than specifically designated areas). As a group, KC Dog Club does not require dogs to be kept on-leash, however, you (alone) are responsible for your dog, the actions of your dog, and any fines you may receive for your dog being off-leash.
