June 4th is National Trails Day. Celebrate with KC Dog Club as we participate in Kansas City, MO Parks and Recreation Department’s #TrailsDayKC photo contest
We’re scheduling multiple short hikes on Kansas City, MO trails throughout the day. Come to as many as you can. Take a ton of photos and hashtag them with #TrailsDayKC and don’t forget the #KCDC.
Lakeside Nature Center
These trails are dirt and rock trails through the woods, so wear the right shoes and prepare however else you see fit for a short hike. Bug repellent is recommended for you and you pup.
We will be hiking the Fox Hollow trail. The Fox Hollow trail is 2 miles long, and returns to nature center.

OFF-LEASH – All cities in the Kansas City area have “leash laws,” requiring dogs to be on-leash at all times (other than specifically designated areas). As a group, KC Dog Club does not require dogs to be kept on-leash, however, you (alone) are responsible for your dog, the actions of your dog, and any fines you may receive for your dog being off-leash.
