Trails? Where we’re going, we don’t need trails!

On this hike, we won’t be on trails. We will be exploring Swope Park and the Blue River. There will likely be some mud, rocks, streams to cross, fallen trees to climb over, and more. Prepare however you see fit. Suggestions – water, bug spray, hiking (or old) shoes & don’t forget your appetite for adventure!

We’ll take turns deciding which direction to go, and we all have GPS on the phone… So don’t worry about getting lost – I never do!

The hike will last ~2.5 hours.

For those of you who participated in Project Blue River Rescue, the meeting location is the EXACT place we cleaned up!

I’m not going to create a separate KC Dog Club event, but for those who come on the hike, let’s grab lunch after.

We’ll go to Bier Station at noon

120 E. Gregory Boulevard
Kansas City, MO 64114

YOUR RSVP – If you RSVP YES, then your plans change, update your RSVP to NO, so we don’t wait for you.

OFF-LEASH – All cities in the Kansas City area have “leash laws,” requiring dogs to be on-leash at all times (other than specifically designated areas). As a group, KC Dog Club does not require dogs to be kept on-leash, however, you (alone) are responsible for your dog, the actions of your dog, and any fines you may receive for your dog being off-leash.
