National Mutt Day, also known as National Mixed Breed Dog Day, is celebrated on both July 31st and December 2nd.
KC Dog Club will go for a hike at Alex George Lake. We will hike the Bridger, Badger and Stonewall trails of the Blue River Parkway Trail system. This route is approximately 5.5 miles.

This is a hike on dirt and rock trails, so make sure you prepare properly. The trails do have some obstacles (rocks) and the trails do go up and down hills. Bring water for your pooches.
Feel free to bring guests! Just RSVP with +1, +2, +3, etc.
Wear your KC Dog Club shirt!
OFF-LEASH – All cities in the Kansas City area have “leash laws,” requiring dogs to be on-leash at all times (other than specifically designated areas). As a group, KC Dog Club does not require dogs to be kept on-leash, however, you (alone) are responsible for your dog, the actions of your dog, and any fines you may receive for your dog being off-leash.
