Dog-Walk at Minor Park in South KC

We will meet at the Minor Park picnic shelter for this ~3 mile walk.

The walk will head south on the Greenway Trail, then loop back on a portion of the River Trail. The loop is ~1 mile, so if you only want a short walk you can bail out at this time.

The walk will contine north, and loop around Alex George lake, before returning to the picnic shelter for a total of 3 miles.

NOTES – Approximately 1/3 mile of this route is through the woods. The trail is not paved, but is fairly wide and fairly flat. As well, the portion of the walk that loops around Alex George Lake is not paved and we will cross a small dam. Lastly, it will likely be dusk by the end of this walk.
